Hi! I’m Jessica Moore, and I’m a food nerd.

I’m 45 years old and live with my wife and dogs in Lacey, Washington. I’m a holistic nutritionist obsessed with unlocking optimal brain health. I work with people over the age of 40 who are struggling with big overwhelming feelings, memory, focus, and foggy thinking to unlock optimal brain health so that they can do what they love and be present in their lives!

I came to this work because I there is a high occurrence of mental illness and dementia in my family. In fact, I’ve lost all 4 grandparents to Alzheimer’s. And my father was recently diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s too. The chances for me are staggering. I have two copies of the APOE4 gene and have a 90% chance of developing it myself. Several family members also struggle with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and/or emotional regulation. I too have personal experience with depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation.

I know what it’s like to be paralyzed by fear, thinking my future is written, and powerless to the symptoms of an unhealthy brain. And I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way. I decided to focus on the 10% possibility that I won’t develop Alzheimer’s and do everything I can to increase that percentage. My focus, memory, and emotional balance are all so much improved and I know you can do it too.

I am personally invested in finding ways to improve brain health. I’ve spent over 10 years discovering nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement strategies to unlock my optimal brain health. I take an approach that’s both data-driven and human-centered to help at-risk people identify ways to maximize genetics and minimize risk. There’s a lot I can do to mitigate my risk and that means you can do it too!

My Philosophy

I believe that individualized nutrition is an important part of improving health. What we eat impacts how we feel. And whether or not our body is able to use the nutrients we ingest can also impact how we feel. If you are experiencing uncomfortable symptoms then dietary changes, supplements to ease symptoms, and working with a medical doctor is a helpful strategy. While there is no magic bullet, no one size fits all diet, I believe we can work together to find solutions that are right for you and meet your goals. You can take charge of your own health and well-being. You can feel better and live your best life!
